About Us

Staff at Armstrong Elementary School recognize the value of teaching students to be successful in all areas.

Every month, students learn about different aspects of character. In third through fifth grades, students are also taught Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) strategies to help them develop organization and study skills to help improve their success at school.

Teachers at Armstrong Elementary School personalize learning for each student through relationships. Each student meets with their teacher before school begins. Families also meet with teachers at conferences and receive regular updates on their child’s progress.

Community involvement is also an important part of Armstrong Elementary School. There is an active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and several community-building events throughout the year.
